1. Henry¹ Knippenberg was born July 11, 1872. Henry died March 27, 1965 in Melrose Park, Illinois, at 92 years of age. His body was interred March 31, 1965 in Hillside, IL, Oakridge Abbey Cemetery.

He married May Miller 1897. May was born in Germany March 1878. May was the daughter of Frederick William Mueller and Ernestine Amelia Mueller. May died March 9, 1954 in Melrose Park, Cook County, IL, at 75 years of age. Her body was interred March 12, 1954 in Hillside, IL, Oakridge Abbey Cemetery.

Henry Knippenberg and May Miller had the following children:

2 i. George² Knippenberg was born January 1898. George died January 29, 1907 at 9 years of age.

3 ii. Malinda Knippenberg was born November 1899. She married Anton Schieler.

4 iii. Henrietta Knippenberg was born in Melrose Park, Cook County, IL 1905.
