2. Theodore Louis² Eissfeldt (Carl¹) was born in Wisconsin April 1886. Theodore died January 13, 1943 in Dade County, FL, at 56 years of age.

He married Minnie Clara Miller in Melrose Park, Cook County, IL, April 6, 1908. Minnie was born in Schiller Park, Illinois October 14, 1886. Minnie was the daughter of Frederick William Mueller and Ernestine Amelia Mueller. Minnie died December 16, 1971 in Merrill, Wisconsin, at 85 years of age. Her body was interred December 27, 1971 in Springfield, IL, Oak Ridge Cemetery. In the 1900 census, Theodore was living with his parents, Carl and Anna in the Milwaukee area. Carl was a minister. According to the 1910 census, Theodore and Minnie were living in Milwaukee with their first child, Ruth. Theodore Eissfeldt registered for the draft in 1918. The draft record states his wife was Minnie. The 1930 census shows Theodore Eissfeldt living as a boarder in the home of a widow, Helen S. Mueller in FL. Theodore worked for a sash and door company.

Theodore Louis Eissfeldt and Minnie Clara Miller had the following children:

3 i. Ruth³ Eissfeldt was born in Wisconsin 1910.

4 ii. Raymond T. Eissfeldt was born in Wisconsin December 15, 1912. Raymond died January 23, 2000 in Paris, Illinois, at 87 years of age. Raymond was a Lutheran minister in Illinois.

5 iii. Grace M. Eissfeldt was born in Wisconsin 1918. She married George S. Muto in Illinois, December 23, 1937.
