He married Olive Weist. Olive was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin July 10, 1866. Olive died May 27, 1950 in Elgin, IL, at 83 years of age.

William Miller and Olive Weist had the following child:

2 i. Edna Belle² Miller was born in Waukesha, WI July 10, 1866. She married Orton Payne Haight 1879. Orton was born in Greene, NY February 25, 1861. Orton was the son of James S. Haight and Anne Ravella Payne. Orton died August 18, 1931 in Elgin, IL, at 70 years of age. (See Orton Payne Haight for the continuation of this line.)
