2. James S.² Haight (Squire¹) was born in Rome/Oneida, NY December 23, 1837. James died January 10, 1925 in Elgin, IL, at 87 years of age.

He married Anne Ravella Payne September 20, 1859. Anne was born in Windham Greene, NY October 24, 1842. Anne died February 09, 1910 in Carpentersville, IL, at 67 years of age.

James S. Haight and Anne Ravella Payne had the following children:

+ 3 i. Orton Payne³ Haight was born February 25, 1861.

4 ii. Horton Haight was born in New York 1863.

5 iii. Clara Haight was born in New York 1864-1880.

6 iv. Lucia Haight was born in Pennsylvania 1865.
